So, have you been to lake Victoria? I would like to see it someday. Thanks for the link.
Yes! My apartment is three miles from Lake Victoria - I can see it from my balcony, and there's a train track leading there that passes right in front of my apartment. Last weekend I walked the railway line to the lake. It is lovely. Only thing is you can't swim in it because it's got a parasite that can eat your liver.
And also there are crocodiles.
There's probably far more than two reasons not to swim in Lake Victoria.
