Holy Photoshop!!!

Three photos. Same Carrie Underwood. Doesn't she look like someone completely different on the left/cover photo?

No one's commented yet, and given how bad Chris felt when no one commented on his post, I feel obligated to post something here. So:

Yes. Yes, she does look very different.

Thank you Robert. I would like to say that I am not as emotionally delicate as Chris, but I was wondering why someone hasn't said anything. Where in the world is Jack Silbert?

In Hoboken, looking for more traffic cones? Off at a tryst with Lee Israel?

hanging out at a blog that people actually read because he's stuck up and status conscious? this is very revealing behavior from someone who has been meticulously maintaining a "nice guy" persona up until now.

"i'll show them, i won't post, then they'll fuck me." is that what's happening, jack? really, this is absolutely insane and now it's escalating.

I'll just wager most readers of SIW don't know who Carrie Underwood is or what she really looks like (that includes you, Robert).

I am crushed. How could he not respond to Carrie Underwood?
You know, I have a big Italian family in Jersey City, so help me God Jack Silbert!

Bernie, I THINK she's a singer from American Idol? If that's correct, I'm actually a little ashamed that I know that.

You're right that I don't know what she really looks like.

Robert - don't worry about knowing who the hell Carrie Underwood is or American Idol.
The point is how different the same person can look with Photoshop.

Thanks, Amy. But I can't ever ignore a direct challenge from Bernie, even when she's right.

I've had enough of this post. Let's all stop commenting.

Sorry, Amy. It was a good post, but it's run its course, especially now with the more current Bob Costas Photoshop post. Someone had to point that out. I guess I decided that someone was me.

John - I am with you. I am going to cry if he is really going out with a tasteless Bernie Mac pneumonia joke a his last post.

As for YOU, Chris - sorry there was no ' Carrie Underwood - George W' interview for you to segue into politics. (Which I totally fell for, btw)

Though I'm a bit embarrassed by this, it appears that my blog absence coincides exactly with the beginning the Olympics, which I spent entirely too much time watching, and definitely ate into my Internet time. Oh, how I enjoyed the east-coast-live prime time, and the late night coverage, and then the USA Network and CNBC and MSNBC at random hours. Hmm, that still leaves me with a week to explain, but, since interest in my whereabouts seems to have tailed off on the 22nd, we'll let that week slide.

I do appreciate the concern! I electronically missed you all.
